Morven Museum & Garden resides on the Morven Estate, the former 18th-century home and grounds of Richard Stockton, the New Jersey governor who was also a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The museum preserves the elegant mansion and its lushly beautiful gardens, while also exhibiting 13 art galleries inside, which showcase works ranging from folk art to decorative art. Morven lies downtown, by the west edge of the Princeton University campus.
